Who do you provide therapy for?

We provide counselling support for children, teens, adults, couples and families. We also provide speech language therapy for preschool and school aged children. We will also have occupational therapy services in the coming months.

What type of therapy do you provide?

Our counselling team uses a variety of modalities to support their clients. When working with children, therapeutic play, cognitive behaviour (play) therapy and bibliotherapy is typically used. In working with teens and adults, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Spiritually Augmented Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and EMDR are some of the perspectives that we work from.

Are your services covered by insurance?

Services provided by psychologists, registered social workers, speech language pathologists and occupational therapists are typically covered by insurance. It is best to check with your insurance provider to confirm which health professionals they will cover. We have the ability to direct bill to some insurance providers.

How do I schedule an appointment or consultation?

How long is each session?

The length of each session depends on the service that you are receiving. Counselling sessions are 50 minutes in length with 10 minutes of note taking time. Speech Language sessions can vary in length, typically in 30-, 45-, or 60-minute sessions.
