Fees and Insurance

We want you to know what to expect before you book. If anything here is unclear, please ask. We are happy to talk it through.

Session fees

• Christina, Canadian Certified Counsellor: $200 per 50-minute session
• Denise, Registered Provisional Psychologist: $200 per 50-minute session
• Desirae, Speech-Language Pathologist: rates vary by service, starting at $105 for a 30-minute appointment
• Emily, Canadian Certified Counsellor: $200 per 50-minute session
• Lareina, Registered Psychologist: $200 per 50-minute session
• Roberta, Registered Social Worker: $200 per 50-minute session
• Val, Registered Psychologist: $235 per 50-minute session

Most therapy and counselling sessions are 50 minutes. Some session types run longer. Speech-language sessions range from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on needs. For couples and family sessions, the fee is split equally between the clients present.

Assessments

• Psychoeducational assessment: $2,500 to $3,000, paid in three instalments
• ADHD assessment: $750 to $1,000, paid all at once or in two payments

Insurance and direct billing

Services from Psychologists, Registered Social Workers, Canadian Certified Counsellors and Speech-Language Pathologists may be covered by your extended health benefits. Coverage varies by plan, so please check with your provider.

We direct bill select insurers. Each clinician's profile lists the insurers we can bill directly for them. If your insurer is not listed, you pay at your session and we give you a receipt to submit for reimbursement.

Some clinicians are provisional or still completing registration, and some plans may not cover them yet. Email us at info@infinitepath.ca and we will help you confirm.

Help with cost

Sliding scale. Several of our clinicians offer a sliding scale for clients in financial need, based on income and circumstances.

The Lighthouse Project. Our Pay What You Can counselling program is for anyone facing financial barriers to therapy. You choose a rate between $60 and $100 per session, with no proof of income required. If you have extended health benefits, we ask that you use them first. Lighthouse sessions are booked by phone or email, not online, and start with an intake appointment in our office. Learn more about the Lighthouse Project.

Cancellations

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full session fee, and this fee cannot be billed to insurance. Your clinician may waive it in exceptional circumstances.

Booking

New clients can book a free 20-minute consultation. You can book by phone at 587-735-2343, by email at info@infinitepath.ca, or online. To book online, you need a credit card on file.
